ER wait time was excellent. Left Sentara, had us waiting for over 6 hours. Upon arrival my Grandfather was seen within a few minutes. Staff were friendly and professional.
Very disappointed in this hospital. Came in on July 3rd with excruciating pain right below my chest. They took some blood, gave me an Xray and a drink to soothe my esophagus. Then they sent me home. An hour later the pain came back and I felt like I was going to die. I went to Sentara careplex in Hampton and found out I had a some many gallstones and had to have my gallbladder removed that same day. Thank God for the doctors at Sentara. I waited 2 1/2 hours....just to not be seen. I actually had to ask staff how long ? The staff replied that they where calling patients back that had more of an emergency. When my non verbal autistic may or may not have been in pain !
By far the nicest staff :) my care has been amazing so far :)
Best hospital in the 757! Been there twice and they go above and beyond!
