Five star because after our mobile was stolen out of my hand while walking on the street, Victor assisted us with the follow-up.
My friend and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. This is a very quaint place. We paid for the budget double and Patrick upgraded to a room w/a view and a private bathroom. The room was very clean and I will def recommend MI to friends/family.
My decision to stay here was based on the location near the subway line a ride away from midtown. I enjoyed walking Broadway and Riverside park . Last time I stayed in Queens and it was long ride in the subway. You are paying to stay in a safe neighborhood blocks away from Columbia University, I really can't say much for the amenities of the room when you have the city so close. Had a great stay at morning-side inn. Front desk staff very was helpful. Specially patrick. He would do anything to help you in any way! I would definitely stay again. And recommend this place!
I stayed at the morningside Inn for 3 nights with my husband and son. We had such a good time. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by patrick (the manager)and the two hispanic ladies that work there. They were so friendly and hospitable. My son took such a liking to patrick . he made us feel like we 've known each other for years, and the 2 young ladies that were there were so polite and friendly. they helped us find our way around the city, and even went as far as watching my son for me while i ran out to the store... read more
Morningside Inn was the perfect place to have our wedding. From the beautiful surroundings to the great staff I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of our needs were met and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. The day of the event went by without any mishaps and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
We arrived a few hours earlier than the check in time. The front desk guy let us store our luggage in the storage room, while me and my girlfriend explored the city! The room was bigger and better than we expected. The subway is walking distance from this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here, this will be my go to spot whenever im in New York.
The hotel is located in a very good place, next to two subway stations. It's price is fair and the rooms are well maintained. I totally recommend this hotel to everyone.
who is writing the reviews of this hotel ? my daughter and son - in - law live in new york city and i visit them once or twice a year for 7-10 days at a time.hands down ,this place is great ! staff is friendly, rooms are clean, location could not possibly be better.those people who gave this hotel a poor review should get out of their room and see the city.
