I stayed here for a week with three friends and it was great!! Deluxe double room with our own private bathroom, mini refrigerator, cable tv, A/C , windows open, daily maid service, public kitchen, vending machines, 3 short blocks from subway station, close to many restaurants. The manager was awesome and was always willing to help with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit New York on a budget. Very clean and very affordable.

Pretty good budget stay while in NYC; considering summertime and all! Gotta check it out! The neighborhood is awesome, very cheap options for eating, drinking and even meeting some celebrities!
I've just returned from staying at the hotel and this is what I have to say: Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, room cleaned daily with fresh towels. The residents there were wonderfully friendly too which is an added bonus. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and will hopefully look to stay again in the future!

I would not hesitate to stay at the Morningside again and if you need a basic room for a night or two while visiting NYC, which does not kill the budget, I recommend you give it a try!
Everything is good, subway is near, stuff is very kindly. next time when Ill be at NYC Ill be at this place again anyway
