I have lived here at this property for two years. It use to be a well maintained and beautiful community. However, the upkeep of the grounds has rapidly diminished. There are a lot of residents with dogs who do not clean up after their animals. The grass is literally over run with animal waste and the air has a urine ammonia smell. You cannot enjoy your outside space and kids also cannot play. I have one of the LAZIESS neighbors in life, who owns a dog but take no time to actually walk it. Hi there, please provide name and/or location of neighbor. We are pet friendly but we do not condone this behavior of poor pet responsibility. Rest assured, we do respond to complaints, have fined pet owners and even required some pets and pet owners to relocate. We really appreciate input from residents and any backup or documentation that can be provided as well.
Worse maintenance ever. They have a new young guy there. He can’t be more rude and disrespectful. Today it’s July 4th. My daughter in law called the Emergency Maintenance and he answered. Her apartment was 83 degrees at 8 am. She has an infant in the apartment. He hung up on her and didn’t even ask for the apartment number. My son called again and he answer the phone saying “what” .... what way of answering the phone is that? You are supposed to be professional! My fiancé and I dodged a bullet, if they really said ghetto (as I did not hear the voice msg) and he’s on might shift and I can’t hear what was said- it’s a bunch of bull. We DEFINATELY deserve our money back for our application fee as you shouldn’t said you didn’t want us to live there to begin with. Very rude and demanding and I’m glad we won’t be moving here as we are having a baby.
This place is a SCAM if you have pets DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! They are the opposite of pet friendly! Their dog park is covered in feces. Heaven forbid your dog barks, they will harass you about it. I never got a complaint from my neighbor it was always their staff. My pet did damage the carpet and I know having a pet they will squeeze every cent out of you. The $300 pet fee is just a fun fee they charge you to let your pet live there along with a $20 monthly fee. They wanna charge me $1,000 for carpet.... my parents carpeted an... read more
I love it!!! We looked at many townhomes in the area & decided on River News. We have the dogwood unit....plenty of space. Management is there for you and ready to listen with a resolution. Disrespectful folks that let their dogs poop on others property and not pick it up are everywhere; not just @ River News.
