Got my bike fixed there, excellent service, and fast...
It's always a special trip when we stop by River City. They take great care to make sure we have a great experience while we are there. On the last trip, when there was a mistake none of us caught in store, they quickly took care of it over the phone.
River City Bikes is literally the best place in Portland. Everyone is nice and they have good stuff. And all their service guys are super cute. I owe them all so much beer for the many times they have helped me I believe it will result in a shortage of beer. So if there is a shortage of beer in the near future it is their fault.
Stopped by today to get a 3500mm brake cable for my soapbox derby car... Yep, that's how I roll. Was pleased to find a more than willing staff to help with my somewhat obscure request. Thanks dude's! Find me on the mountain August 20th for some free cold beers on derby day!
From helmets to backpacks to bike service these folks have helped me out immensely in the past year. I'm compelled to leave this review after getting a flat on the ride home from work yesterday. Luckily, I was nearby & they had me back on the road in 10 minutes for $15, new tube & everything. The best.
Customer service is worth the time here. I just moved to PDX, and I couldn't have been more impressed with the help I received in being set up to bike to school. Everything from helmet, pump, flat kit, map of the bike routes, shoes, and bike. They have it all, plus they have just about every form bike/model in stock for you to test and try. Couldn't have been happier with my experience here.
