Very cold Person.When talking to a Dr. I like to talk to someone that is friendly and engaging in the conversation, this Dr. Was having a bad day !
I am usually skeptical about surgery (because I understand that hospitals are a business as well as being a caregiver), so I was glad to hear from Dr. Donahue that surgery for my knee was "optional". I decided to take his advice and have him do a meniscus repair (and other things) even having read that it may not help in older people. I could not be happier with the care I was given and the results. No pain after the procedure (or anytime) and back to near normal in 10 days! I would highly recommend him (and his staff).
Due to injury to my hand I needed to find a Doctor. Someone recommended IJBI and we picked Dr Surbhi Panchal. I found her to be friendly with a unique sense of humor which was refreshing. She never was in a hurry and answered all of our questions. I could not have found a better surgeon it was a refreshing experience to be treated by her
I would recommend Dr. Donahue to anyone, including any member of my family. He was professional and knowledgeable with a wonderful bedside manner. He was very patient with me once we had the MRI results and decisions had to be made. He has a sports ortho background too which I appreciate as I am very active and he understood getting active soon was important to me. Dr. Donahue repaired my broken tibia and fibula. The tibia was in pieces. He explained the injury and what needed to be done in a professional and friendly manner. He took the time to call my husband at home to explain the situation due to COVID restriction. The surgery went very well. At the follow up appointments he explained how my healing was progressing and he took the time to answer my questions. His staff was also friendly and professional. I have and would strongly recommend Dr. Donahue!
Dr. did my shoulder surgery years ago and my shoulder is 120% better! He did my knee replacement Dec. 2019 and I feel great. Most important in my opinion is that it takes time to fully heal and your body will let you know. Took about a year for both. Dr. Sherman not only addresses concerns before, but after he continues to keep up with rehab progress.
I ruptured my distal tendon working out. Dr. Hoepfner was a second opinion for me, and am I glad I went to him. The first surgeon wanted to "anchor the tendon via stitches. Dr. Hoepfner suggested a button technique without the screw. The surgery was done within a week, and I have been in therapy for 6 weeks. I have 100% of my strength back and have surpassed previous Occupational therapy goals. The recovery time was amazing. Small scar that is fading. Highly recommended.
Dr. shah did my hip surgery for hip impingement. He performed hip arthroscopy with multiple repairs. I have been suffering with this for several years. From the day of the surgery until now ( I am 7 weeks post op) I have not had ANY pain! It is a miracle. I am walking, riding a bike, etc and feeling great! My only regret is that I didn't have the surgery sooner.
I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Donahue. He and his staff are very professional and thorough. I would definitely recommend him.
