Both of us ordered a chefs special creation and so happy we did. It was absolutely delicious! The tender fettuccine was laced with chunks of crabmeat, lobster, shrimp and scallops and tossed with the amazing champagne sauce. My husband and I went there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The portions were perfect, we felt satisfied but not stuffed and even had room for dessert! Very pleased with this restaurant. The food, the wine selection and the service are superb. We were lucky to be waited on by ‘Sultan’. Absolutely remarkable service, very knowledgeable of the food and wine selection. The ”Bistecca Alla Fiorentina” and the Limoncello took us straight back to our wonderful time in Florence...
We didn’t realize we needed to make a reservation, however the staff fitted us in. Excellent service and amazing meal. The chef greeted each table and spoke to everyone. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Washington.
Our first visit to La Perla was nothing less than perfect! We had our first anniversary dinner here and everything from the food, the service, and atmesphere was fantastic! The house special is delicious and we were even treated to an anniversary treat and got to meet Chef Testa! We will definitely be back! Thanks for the great experience
This has consistently been the best food of my life every time we have eaten there! The chef is amazing! He ages all his own meat. He will make you anything that he has the fresh ingredients for. Every course was phenomenal! The beef, pork, pasta and dessert were all beyond compare! I tried a bite (or two) of all of the meals our party of 5 ordered!
Excellent food in an elegant setting I had a delicious veal chop with a very good Barolo wine sauce accompanied with a well executed pasta carbonara
