They (still) apparently don't want my business – We had Charlie Vasallo build our 16 x 36 inground pool way back in 1978. He was the founder and knew how to treat and retain customers and fostered loyalty. Since his untimely passing, the family has lost that magic. Every time I try to give Rising Sun Pools an opportunity to regain my business, they drop the ball. It was a very difficult transition for us and I truly am sorry if you feel the "magic" is gone but we are told by clients how refreshing it is to deal with a business with strong customer relations, frequently. I do apologize we did not call back in a timely fashion. However you may want to consider what it may say about the stability of a pool company not busy the week surrounding July 4th. This place drives me nuts! – I have tried to work with this company ever since I had my pool installed (by someone else). I have spent thousands over the years here. I can appreciate the fact they are slammed in the Spring, but I am paying for ongoing maintenance of my pool. I do not feel like a valued customer. Once you actually make it through the phone tag game and many minutes on hold, you can talk to one the friendly order takers. You now feel like you made progress. Our company policy is to call the night before to let our customer know we will be in the yard, if requested we will call with more notice, I apologize if this wasn't explained thoroughly. I am not sure specifically what we did wrong because the review is quite vague - I am sorry you were left on hold & the technicians were actually competent. LEVEL OF SERVICE CONSISTENTLY SUPERIOR – We originally had RSP build our in-ground pool. Even though this is a difficult and messy, lengthy task, they did it with speed and worked with us on every aspect, including design, financing and the work we wanted to do ourselves. Our pool is 4 years old and even now, when I call with a question or repair or chemical question, they strive to help us repair, stabilize water or improve our pool's longevity. Comment: Rising Sun Pool - Raleigh – Just this spring we had an in ground "free-form" salt water swimming pool puchased and installed by Rising Sun Raleigh. Exceptional customer service – I've been dealing with RSP since they installed my inground pool last fall. As a new pool owner I had many questions, concerns, and a great deal of learning to go through. At every step along the way they were professional and demonstrated experience and expertise. Overall Experience with Rising Sun – We have been using Rising Sun for over 8 years. RS installed our in-ground, heated vinyl insert pool and subcontracted for the deck. Generally, the staff that provided service on the pool were competent, professional and timely. We were able to talk with RS's crews and learn on do to many routine maintenance procedures (proper filter maintenance, how to put a winter pool cover on/ open/close pool) to minimize our annual costs.
