Great Service - Great Results – Found Kathleen on this website and became a loyal customer. Brought in a cheap halloween costume that I needed done in one day - and that I needed to look professional. She did great work and did it in the day! Plus, she's so nice - and her shop is cute and lovely. Won't be going anywhere else from now on!

Kathleen saved me when I was close to tears! – Kathleen is a savior. She helped me at the last minute for my sister's wedding- the dress was late getting to me and was almost 4 sizes too big. She magically rearranged the whole dress & made it fit me perfectly. She swiftly made the transformation in time for the wedding! Her prices are very reasonable too. Best Tailor in Town! – I have been going to see Kathleen for the past 3 years when I first started working. She has tailored all of my suits and many bridesmaids dresses. I never have a complaint. When I did try another tailor once, they took the waist of my pants in instead of heming them. It was a disaster! Kathleen was able to fix them as best as she could. I learned my lesson - I will never go anywhere else! Also, Kathleen is so kind and easy to work with. She is flexible and is very accomodating.

I have been going there for years and I called about a week or so again she tells me she is slow around this tine of the year an I had plenty of time there is no rush .. So I go there today for a wedding i'm in in two weeks she tells me I'm going on vacation sorry WTF is up with that .. Never again I told her the story she does remember talking to me but hmmm she played dumb ..

Kathy is the best! – I came to Kathy the day before a wedding with a bridesmaids dress that needed last minute alterations, she didn't turn me away, and she somehow made a disaster of a dress look great on me. She didn't overcharge and had it done within a few hours. She is the best, I will never go to anyone else!

Not the best in Philly – I would have to disagree with the previous reviewers in terms of Rippert's services. I would say she can handle shortening slacks but sleeves and sewing a straight line are pretty difficult. I brought three jackets there for sleeve shortening. The sleeves on 2 jackets on the right side are longer than the left side. None of the inside edges were tucked under or finished. BEST SEAMSTRESS IN TOWN – Kathy does a great job on all of the drycleaning and alterations that I bring to her. And she speaks english-unlike many other tailors and drycleaners in town.

Best alterations in town – I have been going to Ripperts for years, and Kathy never disappoints. I tried not to have too high expectations for the latest bridesmaid dress that I took to her because it was really tight, there was barely any material to be let out, and she was under a huge time cruch, but she worked her magic and made me a perfect-fitting dress. I am amazed at how beautiful it turned out!
