Kathleen did amazing work on both my wedding and reception dresses, AND made me a gorgeous custom veil. Everything looks incredible!
I used Kathleen's services to tailor my wedding gown for my very special day, looking forward to her masterwork, since she was recommended by so many people. Although Kathleen was very nice and friendly, she did not do a good job on my dress. First of all, I went through a lot of stress, as the alterations were not coming along well, and as she was rushing to get all her other jobs complete in time. AMAZING! – Kathleen is a miracle worker. I'm 5'9, 150 lbs, with a size 36FF chest, so let's just say it's not the easiest thing for me to wear a dress off the rack. So when I was forced to wear a sweetheart neckline bridesmaid dress you could smell disaster from a mile away. Fantastic! – Kathleen has rescued me from a few potentially disastrous bridal dress situations. She has taken dresses that did not fit whatsoever and made them look beautiful. I have gone into her store so upset about botched tailor jobs, etc and leave feeling so confident about how I will look in my dress. Even though I don't live in Manayunk anymore, I drive over 45 minutes to see her for important occasions and will continue to do so! Enough said!

I have purchased multiple Nicole Miller dresses for special occasions over the years, so it was a "no-brainer" when I was searching for my wedding gown. Fantastic service – I dropped the ball and failed to get my bridal gown altered on time. I went to Kathy exactly one week and two days before I needed the dress done. Please don't do this to her, she is a very nice lady. Not only did she make a special appointment time for me at 8:00 in the morning, she was able to accommodate my crazy schedule request, and she made the dress look gorgeous. DO NOT RECOMMEND – I recently went to Rippert's for my senior prom dress to be fitted. She was very friendly and I was really excited to be getting my prom dress fitted. I went to pick up my dress and was horrified. When I went to get it fitted, I brought my heals to make sure it would touch the ground. When I tried on the dress at the store again it was at least an inch to short. When my mom looked at the hems it looked very sloppy and rushed. The BEST alteration I've had in 24 years!! – HI there - It's about 2 hours til my best friends wedding... and GUESS WHAT! My dress wasn't altered til about 10 minutes ago. Kathleen helped me out, though she doesn't normally do last minute walk-in's (Like myself.) My dress fits beautifully, and I can't wait to shine in my best friend's wedding.
