I ahve been seeing Dr. Slavin for arthritis and bursitis. What a great doctor. He has helped me so very much with the pain. He always knows exactly where to put the shots and little pain. I have had cortisone shots with other doctors and it hurts almost as much a the medical problems. I would recommend him to everyone.

Small packed lobby with only enough chairs for about 1/2 patients. Everyone else was either having to stand or sit on the floor. Instaff were sighing loudly and had body language like everyone that they were having to help was bothering them. Dr. Slavin was completely unprofessional every time I was there. He has the worst bedside manner that I have ever seen. I do not recommend Dr.. Slavin for anything. So I hope that you take the opportunity to find a doctor that is caring and compassionate.

Dr Slavin has given his responsibility to office manager. A. Not only does this reduce his patient responsibility but office manger (non-medical personnel) determines if, When, and what is important to share and provide with the doctor. B. Office staff's rudeness, poor communication skills, schedule errors, is unjustifiabe/Unexcusable Especially when it concerns the patients safety, secure, inadequate medical treatment. C. Average jam-packed appointment is 4 hours in pain.

The first two initial appointments were canceled by them and made contact on the 3rd attempt and met the doctor and scheduled a pain shot injection for my neck for 10 days later. On the day before the scheduled injection date, I was contacted by his staff and told they needed to reschedule as my procedure had not been approved by insurance. I asked when they submitted it to insurance for approval and was told it was submitted 1 hr before they called me. I didn't reschedule & will go elsewhere

Several visits with no problems, but not much long term results. I gave up when I had to stand in the lobby for over an hour........which did my back and knee no good. When I arrived I could see the corral was full and I mentioned to the hostess........that I had to be somewhere else in a couple of hours. No response. Poor front desk. I will not go back.
