Dr. Slavin is the best. I am sorry to say that at this time I had to stop seeing him, because I cannot tolerate his front desk staff. His office manager in the Weslaco office is the worst. Rude, lies about everything. Never returns calls. Very rude. I have been is so much pain for two months now, and nowhere to go. I have asked to speak to the doctor and or Pa,s with no luck...
Dr. Slavin is a very busy doctor but if you have any concerns he will address them for you and help you in any way that he can he's very caring and understanding of any pain that you might be experiencing he tries his very best to help you get better he's the best doctor that I have ever had and for that I am thankful thank you dr. Slavin for everything that you do for me God bless you and your staff

Excellent doctor great staff. Doctor Slavin has good moral character and a distinct manner in his characterization. All the PA's are excellent and nice and friendly. The staff are all beautiful and great at their job!
Front office good and helpful but,the assistants who check your vitals not welcoming at all. I almost walked out on several occasions because of the very unprofessional and unpleasant assistants. The doctor is good.
I recommend Dr. Slavin 100%. I have been seeing him for more than 7 years, his PAs , nursing and office staff have always treated me with courtesy and respect. Doctor slavens office and waiting area are clean and there is ample parking at any time.
Professional Staff, and the PA has excellent patient interaction skills. Dr. Slavin has me pain free for the 1st time in 25 years. I hope that the VA send to see him indefinitely.

When he took me off my medicine abruptly it caused me seriously bad neurological issues to date . The spinal injections are a scam according to the fda 2014 . He refused to help me and now my life is beyond repair . Be very careful of this dr . He will take you off your meds inproperly and it could cause you brain damage like it did me . I have all of these drs recorded so there is no mistake
Dr. Slavin has a lot of business because there is little competition in the Rio Grande Valley. His staff is among the most unprofessional, lazy, and rude I have ever encountered. Unless you absolutely have to use this doctor, find someone else. Most likely, you cannot do worse.
