Took Jayden to IU North in Carmel around 4pm to the ER. I was told she could not eat or drink until being seen 3 HOURS LATER we were still in the waiting room waiting to be seen. One nurse finally gave us some snacks. 10 minutes later we left. Wasted a day in the ER when I could’ve done the same-thing from home. Keep my baby lifted because shes throwing up everything she drinks and tries to eat. Scheduling an appointment with the doctor in the morning.
Service was amazing. The nurses in pediatric gastrointestinal / infusion unit was exceptional. Thank you to all the staff and to our nurses : Lindsey, Sara, and Julie
I recently had my daughter here, there are many great things to say about this place, all the staff was wonderful but what made my stay/labor here the best was my nurse Sara. She stayed almost 3hours after her shift had ended just to please me and assist in the delivery of my daughter, 28hrs of labor and she was there to make me as comfortable as possible and help with everything I needed. Hands down THE BEST employee/nurse.
The emergency room has the most disrespectful and smart mouth employee's and they don't really even care I used to love this hospital but not anymore
Iu health suck the people give wrong medicine to the wrong patient show a lot of racism out there and they try to cover it up got a lot of friends working out there in the manager covers for their friends or I can go on and on about IU Health North
