This hospital was AMAZING.. My sister had a major surgery yesterday , the entire staff was wonderful. Never have I felt so comfortable. They quickly eased my fear and those of my sister. I can't thank you guys enough for your wonderful bedside manner... 5 STAR...!!!!!
Almost 20 years ago I was rushed to iu hospital with severe eclampsia ... The prenatal and nicu was amazing. My daughter was in the nicu for 21 days. They were amazing at making us feel at home, and The Ronald McDonald House was so comforting. Thank you to both, 20 years later I still think about the month we spent out there.
I had the best ER experience I have ever had, the staff was attentive ,listened were caring and extremely kind. It was Ritz Carlton of hospital care, and I got diagnosis after another ER couldn't GET it right. Five stars for the am staff on 9/24/14, you were just excellent in all of your duties as Docs/Nurses and respiratory therapist. I am grateful to you all....I would recommend you to everyone, I even posted my five star experience on Facebook! Love, Kudos to all! P.S. Not sure if they are understaffed or what the scenario is but, my mother in law Beverley Allen is currently in this hospital and it is very disconcerning that the staff can completely ignore calls from her to do simple things such as unhook her from tubes so that she use the restroom. The information that is shared with her about her care is minimal at best and overall the experience is less than impressive to say they least.
Had my first child at This hospital when it was named Clarian North. Loved the staff! My daughter needed the nicu staff to check on her and were at her side in less than 5 minutes. We have since moved an hour away, but if anything happens to my child again, we will make the trip
I spent 6 days at IU North. 3 in ICU. 2 days before an imaging center mis-diagnosed a blood clot. Test results were negative. 2 days later I was in so much pain I had my wife take me to IU North. At first they were not going to do another Doppler since I had just had one two days ago. Some of my blood tests came back elevated so my ER Doc decided to do another one just to be on the safe side. These idiots sent me a bill saying I owed negative $207.50 for 3 months. Finally got around to calling them about it and they said that it was due to a $345 credit due to the fact that I did not have health insurance. It was for a car accident, however, so auto insurance paid the $863.75 they said was owed at the time. Apparently though, "that counts as insurance", which, according to their people, means that I don't get that $345.
