I have three Riley's babes and we are bothing but thankful for everything you all do for our girls!!! There are always ups and downs but all together great they have saved all of my girls!!!
We were at the ER with our daughter who was in a lot of pain from her lymphangioma on Saturday and had no issue with staff. They were great with my daughter and us. Only issue we are having now is getting her in for an appointment with her plastic surgeon. When we were at ER on Saturday the staff had advised us that the plastic surgeon that was on call wanted us to call on Monday to get seen for follow up with our surgeon and possibly get surgery scheduled. I had my daughter there and she went to the in house therapy they have and they are not very nice with kids I was in the bathroom they came into my daughter room she explained something to them about what was wrong as I was listening they told her that she was all but stupid and didn't k ow what she was having issue with and is very rough with her until I came out and told them to leave room then I get security called cause i told them to leave my daughter's room I'm very disgusted with this floor and also my daughter went a... read more
My brother is up at Riley right now, he had back surgery today and our parents and his pregnant girlfriend drove from evansville to be with him. My dad (who also has an absolutely terrible back) is currently sleeping in his truck because they couldn't allow one more person to stay in the room. I guess I understand policies but that seems pretty crappy to me. They were supposed to stay 2 or 3 nights up there but hopefully they can come home sooner now. Good thing it's not still freezing outside.
I don't reccommend anyone agree to let their child go to the rehab floor. I thinking it would be a good thing for my child agreed. Boy I wish I could go back now and never agree. The nurses are pathetic to say the least they r rude and never give my child her meds when needed. They treat parents like little babies who can't take care of their kids. They will hold ur child hostage as long as they can because they never have many patients . and apparently they isolate ur children for having a non contagious UTI that she got be... read more

I am extremely grateful for Dr. Dimeglio and the entire pediatric endocrinologist team that took good care of my 11 year old and properly diagnosed him as a Type 1 Diabetic. We were transferred there from NW Indiana (2.5hrs away). There were no Drs near us that would see him. We were in shock when he was diagnosed as there were no signs of this. He just had a bad stomach ache and was gonna be treated for that when his blood sugar was checked and found to be extremely high. We ended up staying 2 nights at Riley's and I couldn... read more
