We used Dr. Kasey for a court appointed custody evaluation 3 years ago. We have yet to receive the report to the judge. Normally this is a process that is completed in a years time. Everything we were promised at our first interview has not been done. The other party lied at her first interview and the evaluator before even testing her , took her word and halted the entire process for 2 years before starting to test and interview anybody. Something is not right with this practice. I suspect he is in his own denial and has a hidden something of his own to make such incredibly poor evaluations and judgements on multiple cases that I've been made aware of by other women including my own. Dr. Shienvold performed a very thorough and detailed custody evaluation. And I'll admit it was borderline uncomfortable at times. And nerve racking. But he asked the appropriate questions to elicit the appropriate responses to get a good idea of who the people were he was evaluating. The recommendation he produced was not completely in my favor but it was fair and honest. Yes, he was expensive, but he was worth every penny.
