Partial knee replacement with Dr. Reitman in May 2019. Knee feels great now, almost like new! Considering a hip replacement with Dr. Reitman now. It is hard to reach the doc, office/medical staff very protective. His surgical skills are worth the trouble! DH - March 2020
I had a double hip replacement back in 2002 and I still dancing, walking and pain free! This doctor gave me back my life. I was able to run and play with my kids and now grand kids. I have never thanked doctor Reitman in person. But I often thank him in my prayers.
Dr Reitman has done 2 total knees and a partial on me ... when I damaged my partial, I came in and he looked it over , told me a course action; we followed it just as he said worked great . I had another issue (self induced ) ...flew in from Salt Lake to see him ( quick to get in ) waiting on a course of action determination - I bet we do it, and I’ll be fine ! Bed side manner ?? Had partial knee replacement in June, 2019. Back at full speed in 2 weeks. Dr. Reitman could not do one thing better. He is tops in all ways!
Dr. Reitman did my hip replacement. A year later of continuous pain he diagnosed the problem as bursitis and did a second surgery. Instead of bursitis there was a 5 cm "discontinuity" in the major muscle at surgery site that he could not explain. He tried to repair the damage. That was 10+ years ago and there hasn't been a day the hip has not hurt. I now need ortho work on heterotopic ossification from damage done during surgeries but Dr. Reitman will never touch me again. Avoid him if you want a caring, competent doctor.
Partial knee replacement in 12-2015. I did not use Dr. R because I wanted a lovely bedside manner. I chose him for his surgical skills. No, he did NOT see me after my surgery until weeks later. There was immediate f/u by another physician in group. I am grateful for my results. Chief complaintoffice staff who didnt do due diligence in many areas. Worst which was regarding realistic return to work date and f/u appt letter for day Dr R doesn't even see patients. Presby Hosp. problems too.

Run! Don't walk away from this Dr. Does not show any compassion for his patients, did not even do a follow-up visit in hospital after surgery.

Outstanding surgeon. He may be too direct with some people. But, he knows what he's doing. I had a full hip replacement and partial knee surgery by Dr. Reitman and both were unquestionably successful. I am 76 years old and presently working two part-time jobs. Also, his staff is one of the best.
Would not recommend Dr. Reitman to do surgery on anyone. Did three surgeries in three months on my knee. Destroying my knee and then telling me to get out of his office and don't come back. Said he couldn't fix my knee because something was wrong with my body. Destroyed knee and no other surgeon wanted any part of his screw up.
