Did not call to see how I was doing after the surgery. One of his female PAs was super snippy on the phone, and the partial knee surgery did not lead to the success inferred by him before surgery. Will need a total knee replacement now.

Dr Reitman operated on me 1 1/2 years ago for a torn hip labrum due to a bony hip impingement. He claimed the 2.5 hour surgery was a success. After a lengthy period of pain I had a new MRI and came back in. He told me the labrum and torn again and my only choice was hip replacement. I was given no reason why I should need surgery again so soon. I went to another reputable surgeon at a different office. Horrible. I had a partial knee replacement, and after a year of unbearable itching, all over body sores, and visits to multiple dermatologists I discovered I was allergic to the nickel in the implant. When I went to see him another doctor showed up with him to tell me it was my responsibility to tell them I was allergic to the nickel. I had to go to another surgeon to have the replacement replaced. What a nightmare.

Dr. Reitman performed a revision shoulder replacement in July, 2020. Within a month, the ball/arm area moved up out of the socket. This was noted by his assistant. However, Dr. Reitman said nothing was wrong, continued to send me to physical therapy. Later it was a frozen shoulder and more therapy. It was not until after a year and my last appointment that he announced that my rotator cuff was gone and he wanted to perform a reverse shoulder replacement. I was having difficulty walking because of pain in my hip. Apprehension was high but I was assured this could help. Wow! I have been doing so much better. Hip discomfort is minimal & I couldn't be more satisfied with this procedure.

I went to Dr. Reitman for pain in my hips. I was somewhat apprehensive with the procedure and he assured me it would be ok. It was also explained to me that it might be a couple of weeks for all the effects to be felt. Well, after 2 days, my hips were feeling great. I can sleep much better (it doesn't hurt to turn over) and walking is 99 o/o better. The procedure is so much better than I anticipated. Would certainly do it again.

I had my right shoulder done by Dr. Reitman about 3 years ago, my son just had his left shoulder done and I'm going in next month to have my other shoulder done. Dr. Reitman is awesome. I have had shoulder surgery done by the VA in the past and it wasn't ever the same. Dr. Reitman had me and my son back working out in 8 week. Highly recommend to anyone.

After I had knee surgery and was concerned with the results, I had a bone scan and found it was not successful. I was now required to have a revision (second operation) to correct the initial surgery..
