Had 8 AM appointment. Dr. was not there and staff did not know where he was or when he would arrive. Waited 30 min. and asked for refund and left. Staff was not the least bit apologetic to the situation. As I was leaving parking lot the Dr. pulled in - 40 min. late. No wonder others complain of long wait times. There where 3 others waiting for him when I left. He starts his day off with a backlog apparently. With no considerations for others time.
Business response:
Dear TE, I'm sorry for the experience you had while visiting me and my office. Sometimes things arise that are out of my control, but I understand your frustration. I apologize for the wait and appreciate your feedback. Sincerely, Reza Shahim, MD
Very rushed and uncaring. Did not listen to reason why I was visiting him. Told me I had symptoms that I did not have and told me "I am a surgeon I don't do that". Treated me like I was beneath him and he couldn't be bothered with me and take enough time to listen to me when I waited for over an hour waiting on him. While he may be an outstanding surgeon I wouldn't trust him to operate on me.
Business response:
Dear Breedlove, I apologize for your experience during your visit. It is never my intention for my patients to not have a positive experience when visiting with me. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Sincerely, Reza Shahim, MD
Very rushed, very uncaring, Did not have time to listen about my issues. He ended up telling me I don't have issues that I had been diagnosed with at Cook Children's hospital Fort Worth TX, at the age of 5, now I'm 20, and making up these issues according to Dr.Shahim. waste of time.
Business response:
Dear Dickson, I always strive to spend time and be compassionate with all my patients. I value my patients and their families time and apologize you didn't feel you experienced this during your visit with me. I appreciate your feedback. Sincerely, Reza Shahim, MD
Dr. Shahim performed a laminectomy/discectomy for my severe sciatica a week ago. I experienced immediate nerve pain relief & minimal incisional pain due to his minimal surgical approach. Also, the Ark. Surgical Hosp. is an excellent place to have surgery. There is obvious apprehension experienced by anyone facing these type procedures. Dr. Shahim and his nurses were very helpful in the whole process. Excellent surgeon.
I'm very satisfied. I wish I had not waited.
Dr. Shahim is a remarkable human being. Had it not been for him, I would have been permanently handicapped. His bedside manner was unmatched. I admired Dr. Shahim's compassion and genuine concern for my well being. If you have the good fortune of having Dr. Shahim as your surgeon, you will not be dissapointed. I feel that he is amongst the very best at what he does and would highly recommend him to anyone.
