Dr. Shane is simply superb. Very competent and reassuring and at the same time very efficient and organized--doesn't waste time. I went in for an exam, had a retinal tear diagnosed and laser repaired, and was on my way home all in about an hour. Very efficient, organized, and clean office. Staff is amazing too. I don't normally write online reviews, but this one has to be written.
Dr. Shane and his staff are first-class and I would highly recommend them. I had an ongoing issue with my eye and when I called as a new patient, they made me an appointment for the next day. Dr. Shane was beyond professional and very efficient.
Having been patients of Dr. Frances Lesperance, the inventor of Laser Surgery, for 35 years, we have been very particular searching for an Ophthalmologist in the Sarasota area for several years and only recently did we find Dr. Shane. We now do not have to go to New York or Miami to receive 5 star care. He and his staff are extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Dr. Shane is also very ethical and does NOT recommend procedures that are not necessary. We hold him in the highest regard.
I absolutely loved Dr Shane. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I have never been to a Doctors office that ran so efficiently. Dr Shane was very caring and helped me understand the problem I was dealing with, the options I had and how to deal with them.
Dr. Shane provided me with the best care imaginable. I had an emergency detached retina while on vacation in Sarasota and I was so lucky to have connected with Dr. Shane. Dr. Shane provided complete treatment for my condition while I was in Florida. His staff was also very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. One of the best run doctors offices I have ever been to.
