I was referred to Retinal Associates of Cleveland on an emergency basis because of a sudden loss of vision due to bleeding in my eye. Because I already have very low vision in both eyes, I was frightened, especially since the loss of vision was in my better eye. As a patient of Dr. Joseph Coney for several years, I feel very fortunate to be his patient. I am given the latest technology and treatment with the utmost kindness and professionalism. Dr. Coney saved my sight! I am so thankful for him. I had a central retinal vein occlusion. He was able to give me shots in my eye and I am now seeing 20/20 a year later! He truly is a miracle worker.

Dr. Rao saw me within an hour when I called in with my eye symptoms. He diagnosed the cause of my blindness in one eye accurately and immediately. A week later he performed a vitrectomy. I went from being blind in one eye for a week to 20/20 vision (with glasses) right after the eye patch was removed. He explains things clearly, answers all questions, and is a pleasant person. I highly recommend him based on my several office visits and surgery experience.

Dr. Coney did surgery on my detached retina. I could not see anything but shadows. I followed everything after surgery and I am seeing great! He truly preformed a miracle and I am very grateful for his skill and expertise. He was a very kind and soft spoken and talented. I know that our area is blessed to have him caring for our community. I would highly recommend him and his staff. I will be forever grateful for his surgical talents.

Spent most of my time at the Westlake office but have also been to the Middleburg Hts and Lorraine offices. All offices very well run with minimal waiting. Excellent friendly staff. Dr. Miller is the greatest doc! Spends time with his patients and explains everything. Very helpful and supportive getting me through some rough times. Would highly recommend him.

The first time I met Dr. Coney and staff was an emergency visit. You can’t imagine the urgency and the fear I felt not being able to see normal. Dr. Coney and staff were very understanding.
