Almost two years ago I went to Dr Coney to treat retinal bleeding in my eye. Because the bleeding was idiopathic and I was an atypical patient, we worked out a treatment plan that allowed him to follow and learn from my diagnosis as well as letting me make choices that we felt would benefit me the most. I met Dr. Coney after my ophthalmologist discovered I had a hole in my macula. I was extremely nervous once I knew that I would have to have surgery on my retina. Dr. Coney was very thorough and explained the procedure to me. As it turned out, I had to have both eyes operated on within nine months.
