I have to give HUGE shout out to the labor and delivery team. I live in Lees Summit and at first I wasn't thrilled I had to go to Research to deliver my first baby!!! To my surprise I was placed on bedrest for 7 days there prior to her arrival and this team was Amazing.. They made me feel comfortable and I made friends along the line. They went out of their way to make sure I understood everything happening. So for anyone who has any hesitation going to Research please don't, you are in GREAT hands!!!!
I Just Want To Say That My Care Has Been Amazing! I Heard Terrible Things About Research & Was Completely Against Delivering My Daughter Here But I Must Say That They Have Taken Great Care Of Us. Nurse Kathy & Dr Lofton Delivered My Daughter & Coached Me, They Were Absolutely AMAZING �. Nurses Karen & Kati Took Care Of Me During My Labor Process & They Were VERY Patient With Me. Nurse Sharon Is A Doll. She's Been Here Since '78. My Experience Has Been Overall Wonderful.
I went right in , Five minutes wait time they listen to my concerns and, took the procedures to check me out completely and throughly found the problem gave me meds on my way within two hours, feeling much better Thanks so much Research you Rock!
I went to the er for my asthma and they took excellent care of me from the nurse at the check in to the nurse who checked me out! Awesome staff
I came here for the first time to the ER suspecting that I had a kidney stone. I ended up having more than one and had to be admitted. I'm very impressed with the knowledge, compassion, communication, and bedside manner of everyone I've been in contact with from the food service to the nurses to the nurse practitioners to the doctors.

Don't go here! Eight hours with no monitoring by staff.
Dr. Stites and all of the nursing staff and the staff in other areas I was involved with, were exceptional. I couldn't give five stars only because dietary left a lot to be desired. The staff was friendly enough, but the food wasn't to my liking and I never got my meal as I requested. One evening I asked them to replace my dinner and it was never replaced. I ended up eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
