My son had surgery here and had exceptional care! He was treated with compassion and respect. All of the staff from nurses, physicians, and registration were top notch!
Now, 2 years ago I had an amazing experience with my first born. But This past July with my second child, Worse experience ever. I had a nurse that told me to suck it up when my epidural didn’t work and I for some reason got a panic attack. Like what the heck? I felt like nurses forgot about me, when I called the nurses they acted like I was a pain... I always had to ask for my food. Never got the right food.
My son was burned at work, the ER took care of him right away. The staff treated my son and husband with more respect and dignity than they thought possible. Thank you for making a difference and giving more than 5 star treatment. (we will NEVER go to the other burn ER again, where my son waited for over 4 hours and left to come to HCA).
If you need an ER, go somewhere else. This place is ridiculous. Sitting in a room with OTHER patients for hours is unacceptable. You should NEVER share any room in a hospital, period! Would you pay thousands of dollars to share a hotel room with a stranger? No? But when your sick or injured this is what they do at this hospital.
My husband recently had back surgery at Research and he and I would like to acknowledge the level of care he received while there. He spent 4 nights on the 6th floor - and I wish I could remember the names of all who assisted him, including food service and housekeeping staff PT & OT . I want to mention the names I DO remember: D'Tara, David & Danielle...thank you so very much!!! Your dedication to your job and to your patient as well as your compassion were greatly appreciated. (and Scott is doing great!)
Thank you for taking care of my brother 7 years ago. Today is the anniversary of his accident and he is alive and well. God bless
This hospital is the worst hospital in Kansas City
The staff here at Research Medical Center from the janitorial service to the doctor bedside manner is the most high I stay here for 5 days I got treated better than any Hospital i been I did not want to go home from the one on one with my doctor and everyone that took 5 minutes out of their busy schedule to talk to me was very appreciated and needed the nurses staff are so caring they made me feel like I was there only patient a special shout-out to Jessica she is amazing the people here made me feel like they were my extend... read more
