I saw Dr. Ahmed for the first time today in the Neurology department. He was amazing. Listened, attentive, took lots of notes, etc. His resident was also amazing with great bedside manner. I feel like I got further with them in one visit than I have in the last 6 months with my primary doctor and multiple specialists. I fully approve of the initial plan of my care and referrals placed, tests performed, etc. 100% recommend! My only complaint is someone else in the office smelled heavily of perfume. I contracted a virus while under their care
ICU staff has been nothing but excellent. From the drs, to nurses to the housekeeping. Everyone makes sure our family is being taken care of. They’ve been wonderful helping us through this hard time.
If you are in pain, don't come here unless you want to be treated like and uneducated drug addict...

Research Medical Center emergency room does patient profiling. I feel regardless what kind of medical insurance you have what kind of drug addiction you have you still should be seen for a medical issue that you have Research Medical Center does not do that
Research Medical Center doesn't allow you to make a payment plan in person. So, if someone doesn't have the ability to call them (no phone), there's no way to make a payment plan or a way to work with them financially. They allow payments in person, but they would still send someone to collections for not having the ability to call them to discuss a payment plan. Their financial advisers will not allow a payment plan to be put in place while in person.
I was recently at Research for surgery. I have been in 4 other hospitals locally, 3 for surgeries. By far Research was my best experience. From now on I will request it, if possible. And I live in western Johnson County. Private rooms. Had only wonderful nurses and staff. Attentive comforting care. My every medical need was fulfilled quickly, efficiently, with kindness and smiles. Thank you Research.
