An employee, Stephanie Myers was sending threatening messages to another woman online. This woman is a cancer survivor and YOUR nurse said she hoped she dies of cancer. I just wouldn’t want someone like that taking care of me, or someone I love.
I don’t have any experience with Research medical center but an employee had a disagreement on the Zona Rosa Swap and Shop group and has been sending threatening messages to people... so I’m not sure I would recommend the care if this is the staff providing it. Scary.
RecommendedMy dad won his covid battle here. All the nurses and doctors here saved my dads life! They were so wonderful to my dad and i’m forever grateful he was in the best of hands!

I really wanted to like this place and felt like I was in good hands. I gave birth to my first baby on April 25. I had a different doctor than my original doctor. That doctor gave my an awful episiotomy. One that came open and had to heal open. Because every time I called, the nurses made it sound like the intense pain I was in was normal. after being a patient for 10 years, I will no longer be a patient at research medical center after my 48 hour stay. hospitals fail to realize that if people after sick or feeling their hospital will be bankrupt and closed down. I have 2 good insurance companies so I can choose any hospital in Kansas City but I always choose research medical center. smh.
My daughter got brought in by ambulance to ER. 7 months pregnant and the hospital left the door way open and starting undressing her with NO privacy. My other daughter rode in the ambulance with her and the hospital would NOT allow her to use the restroom when they arrived or at all during the night. they wanted a young female girl from the country to WALK (because she had no vehicle there she rode the ambulance) to a local gas station to pee !!!! horrible, they don’t care about their patients at all.
True story - brought to the ED unconscious & unresponsive after being a drugging victim at the Divisional Playoff Game at Arrowhead. They completely ignored my family that was with me and telling them I was drugged. We only found out after hair follicle testing that I had been given GHB amongst other things I never knowingly took. The food service is horrible. My husband has been in Research for 12 days, we have seen a person to place his order one or two times. After talking to several staff about our issue and nothing being resolved, last night I went off in a hysterical rant about it with the nurse leader. Still no resolution. Today with his lunch there was banana pudding, which he didn’t want. But it looks like it has metal shavings in it. Completely unacceptable.
