As a person who doesn't eat raw food, they still serve other nice things such as steak and black beer.
Awesome place to do a party for about 35-50 people! Amazing food and awesome wait staff! The event coordinator did an amazing job with helping me prepare for my hubby's surprise 40th! It went perfectly as planned and I got so many compliments on the place and food from all my guests! Will do future parties there! Oh and I love their brunch and desserts!
I was introduced to Republic by some great friends while visiting the DMV area this past weekend. I absolutely enjoyed my meal and service from beginning to the end. My meal selection was fresh, well seasoned and reasonably proportioned. I will be back on my next visit as well as recommend to friends and family in the area.
They always have the best mussels and reliable drinks every once in a while they have fun open mics
I generally like their food (and they have the best manhattans of anywhere). But please, BEWARE OF POOR FOOD HANDLING! My friend got sick (norovirus or something else?) from a bad hamburger last night. To the kitchen staff: PLEASE REVISIT YOUR FOOD HANDLING AND FOOD STORAGE PRACTICES. We don't want more people getting sick.
