Had drinks with my out of town friends on the outside patio. The fried pickle was great!!
We had great service, lots of smiles and friendly happy servers. Food was very good...loved the strong anchovy Caesar salad and the gnocchi. While the gnocchi was not billed as a vegetarian dish I did assume it was because it was prepared with mostly veg, but I could taste the bacon on the gnocchi and damn it was good! Carrot -rhubarb cake was perfect with the vanilla ice cream. Decaf espresso was terrible but then again why did I order a decaf espresso? I know better. Republic is a mainstay of our dining out experiences, particularly when we want to dine on some pretty amazing vegetables. Where most other restaurants create lackluster vegetarian options, Republic has dishes that delight and satisfy omnivores like me. The staff is also great. They are prompt, knowledgable, and remember us when we walk in. Don't miss the White Martinez cocktail. They make a delicious one!
