They take payments even after payoff is complete until you contact them and tell them to cancel the payments. Also, they refuse even after illegally taking funds from you to give it back regardless of whether it is owed or not.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER. I asked a month ago to get my furniture picked up & the first person I spoke to NEVER told I had to email the recovery team to initiate the process I was told they would call me, called back 3 days after & they told I had to send an email & the person I spoke with no longer works there. So I emailed them I was speaking with someone from there via email & he told me it will take a week and a half I'm like okay fine. If I can give negative stars I would!!!! I've been making payments showed them bank statements and they're still harassing me. They are threatening to take my furniture, my son and I both have COVID and can't let anyone in our home. They come WITHOUT MASKS trying to take our furniture. Doug and Jose keep calling me, Tim ***** the District Manager for Rent-A-Center still has yet to respond to my email in regards to this store. I'm frustrated not only with COVID but with Rent-A-Center.

I have never received more harassing treatment than I have purchasing with rent a center. They stalk my home, call my phone 24-7, called my family all for a week past due payment of $25. I want to pursue harassment charges and based on the below reviews we should all band together for a class action suit until these people get through their heads at corporate, who by the way, isn't accepting customer calls. Nice crooked business dealings.

Rent a center took 2 weeks to finally get a product in my hands because they did not contact me for days following my initial inquiry and apparent start of my agreement. By the time they did, my phone had broken and I had no means of contact. I finally set things up and was to pick my phone up, which I was told would be in at 2:30pm. I arrive and no phone was there. We've used their rent to own options for many many years due to falling on hard times, causing damage to our credit. We gave them excellent business with payments on time until recently with Covid they set up auto pay which was actually more convenient; we didn't need to call in payments to them on the due date. I received a voice mail on a Saturday to call them while traveling out of state for a funeral so due to dealing with that emergency I wasn't able to return their call the same day. I would not advise anyone to do business with this company. This is a very dishonest business. I logged in to my account to make a payment and it shows a payoff balance which I paid half of. The online balance never changed. When I call in they tell me I still owe over 1,000.00 and the online balance is the early payoff amount. Bobs Discount Furniture-Acceptance Now -Please do not use them as financing for furniture, You will pay 5 times the amount for non-quality furniture. If you miss any of your payments-you will pay extra fees & penalties. Hard to negotiate any terms with this company if you are in financial distress, They will harassas you with constant calling & voicemails if you are even 1 day late to make arrangements to pick up the furniture.
