This company is the WORST COMPANY I have ever encountered in my life. If I could rate them a 0 I would. When I paid this account off I have asked from the day it was paid off for them to send me an invoice stating that the account was closed and paid. The company has yet to do so. I've called numerous times requesting that an invoice be sent and I keep getting the run around OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. I was in a bad spot when I agreed to the loan with Preferred Lease. I borrowed about $1,200 that was set up on bi-weekly payments over a 12 month period or I had the option to pay the loan in full before my 90 day mark. Well! What I didn't do was fact check this merchant or read any customer reviews. Boy was I in for the okie-doke. Please, don't ever take loan from this most useless company, it's a scam. They will not take the money from your account just to mess up your credit. They also want you to pay extra $5 on every payment, so they won't do the right thing. I always have enough money to cover the payment in my account but this scammer will never take it because they want me to pay on the phone and add $5 and they staff are well trained liars. It's sad to have scammers like this spoilling the name of this great country.

I only had three payments left on my contract and now they aren't taking the full amount of my payment out of my balance. I pay 93 dollars every other week and they take the 93 dollars out of my bank and only put 40 dollars towards my balance. I was so happy to have this finally paid off and now its lingering. Also I only got accepted for 1000 and they put on my credit that its 2000 and they havent been reporting all of my on time payments for the past 4 months.

I live in ******* and got a notification in my email that someone under my name signed an agreement in the ********, TX location and that they bought a living room set through Acceptance Now. I called Acceptance Now and they told me I had to dispute it and that it was identity theft. I had to send them a police report along with other documents. I left work immediately and filed a police report. Afterwards, I drove all the way from ******* to ******** to speak to someone about this and possibly stop the delivery to this othe... read more

Tried to return the item at the beginning of December. Was told they'd prefer I keep it. Tried to pay item off in Jan and was told that the item is NOT WORTH the purchase price. I shouldn't pay it. Just go to walmart and buy 3 of the same items that are the exact same. I have had several different stores harrassed my family even though I have moved out of town.
