This company is terrible to deal with and I highly recommend that you never utilize this company. They have and will over charge and unnecessarily harass their customers. I will never use this company again.

These guys keep telemarketing my store and disturbing me when I have customers. Just this morning, a sales representative from Preferred Lease called me and I asked him to not call me and harass me anymore, as I am often busy with customers. I hung up on him. He called back irritated and said, "I am a customer and you just hung up on me. I want to speak to your store manager." I told him I am the store manager, then he said, "I want your full name." Acceptance is a huge rip off designed to take all of your money. Friday I had a pay off balance of about $1560. That day I called in and made a debit card payment of $1000 and my payoff balance is at $1375 still. Paying $277 every 2 weeks for months became unbearable. And this loan has done nothing but haunt me. If I could have afforded to buy a mattress outright I would have. My kids and I should have slept on the floor rather than get involved with this company.

I purchased Furniture and financed with this company. I did the 90 days same as cash. Covid Hit and I reached out to them, they kindly extended the terms. The day before the payoff, I called and was put on hold off and on for 5 hours. I have the phone records to prove I called and the times of hold. The next day I called and again, was put on hold for 4 hours with NO ONE Coming on the line to accept my payoff. I leased a sofa through this company .Before I started my lease I read horrible reviews about the customer service ,they didn't post the correct payments ,they charged more than they were supposed to.I went ahead and leased with them because I figured I'd ensure my payments were made by looking online and figured I'd never have to call them.WRONG ,apparently they didn't have my ss# in correctly which resulted in me never being able to do any payments online nor see my account.I had to wait months to get online access when I ... read more

Merchant's Preferred / Preferred Lease is a company I leased a mattress through to earn credit 3 years ago. I made my payments on time under an automatic payment method. After my last payment, I was still being charged. I called and was told my last payment was late (for the interest free period in the contract) and that I owed them over $3,000 of interest. I wish I could give them no stars!!!!! I just started renting a couch from the one here at ************** in *****, Oregon. We just recently had a power outage in the whole state of Oregon on 02/13/21. My rent a center payment was due on the same day. I went without power until 02/16/21. So I could not contact RAC or pay them even if I wanted to. To add, my car has been in the shop since the 6th of this month. They are bullies that will hound you at your home.
