Ray and Susan.. They are liars. Told me on Monday had my washer dryer all set for Saturday. Avoided called 2 days then finally had Brittany tell me they all set to go. Even Saturday at 1 she told me our washer dryer loading up ready go. Called back at 3pm oh no they waiting I b me to sign up on a link. My boyfriend got a bedroom set first it took almost a month to get the set in its entirety because the manager "forgot to bring it" so he didn't have end tables. Then my boyfriend fell behind on payments so I took over, i fell behind so my card was taken off of auto pay, well I gave them the # over the phone catch everything up, now they have ran my card without my consent multiple times. The worst customer service! Being rude must be a requirement to work there. Being told incorrect information just to make a sale. Both Joplin, Mo locations are a complete joke.
So my wife and I bought a bed that had a store price of $2,100 from Ashley's Furniture Store. With tax included,the bed was a little over $2,300. However, my wife finished paying off the bed so we officially own it.....or should anyway. But the credit company by the name of Acceptance Now claimed that we don't own the bed because we still owe $2,100. They claim that the entire bed is $5,000. I am a paying customer ! My payments is every other Saturday but due to financial problems I pay no later then Monday! A day before the late fees hit.. I've had problems with rent a center threating me over a day late payment. The way they threaten people to pay is not right! Then they say "they don't want to come out and get your stuff"after you done aruge with them . What's the point of making threats? I feel like all that is unnecessary. I'd give them no stars but that isn't an option. I have been harassed, my newborn son wakes up screaming because they will pound on our door! We are a young couple who just wanted stuff for our home before our son was born we made a lot of payments I'd say over 3,000 and we couldn't pay them for a minute due to my health issues, car issues and so forth. The last time my wife and I bought anything from this place we never got a owners manual, they would not listen to my wife on how to bring the fridge in and the fridge was dented, after awhile to where it was at the end of the payments the ice maker wasn't working anymore and to get a new ice maker or it repaired we had to sign a new agreement for a new fridge and we were told anything goes wrong during the duration they will fix it or replace it free so we got stuck with the fridge. I have dealt with Rent-A-Center for years but today I would say would be the worst experience that I have ever had with them an associate at the William Cannon location in Austin Texas came to my house today and pretty much harassed me was so close to my door that when I opened it she was pretty much nose to nose with me I slammed my door and told her to leave my property she refused to leave the whole time standing outside my house doing nothing but talking crap she has left nasty messages on my phone as well as my mothers ... read more
after a week of purchase from Preferred Leasing, I noticed the table and the bench became wobbly.. I called preferred leasing the same day and customer service told me i would have to speak to a supervisor however no one was available and someone would contact me about the matter. I never heard back from anyone. I followed up with numerous phone calls and emails to no avail to date.
