I wish I could give them a -10. I initially went to purchase furniture through them but when I signed the contract the furniture was delayed by 5 months so I canceled the contract. They continue to take money out my account for 2 months. I contacted them letting them know the situation they informed me they would refund the 2 months. 19 months later no refund and they have been reporting on my credit report as delinquent and this last month dropped my credit 19 points. I purchased a bedroom set and living room set and use to pay on time all the time .I lost my job and was unemployed I filed a claim with rent a center benfit plus .They explained their were back up at least three weeks and that the store couldn't see the claim until it was in review .I called the store and let them know I filed a claim but it hasn't been processed yet due back up claims .The manager at this location in Lauderhill was so disgusting and rude he even hung the phone while I was trying to explain the situation to... read more

Philip S*** a manager in Raytown MO is very unprofessional. He called me and cussed me out because a stolen pizza of mine was found in his trash. He threatened to come to my house! Not a single district manager has bothered to call me. I am VERY UPSET

RAC has purposely robbed us,in our rental agreement it states that at anytime we may cancel the agreement without penalty to us. We let them know we were moving and we needed them to come get the couches we told them the date of the move , they told us they would find someone to come get the couches, that was weeks ago .we've been on the phone fighting to have them get the couches, moving day came and still they did not get the couches, now there trying to put the remainder balance on my credit basically forcing me to pay fo... read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. Recently, I was behind on ONE single payment. This was the first time my account had ever been behind. My local Rent-A-Center had been contacting me to collect my past due payment. At that time, I was out of town because my grandfather has Stage 4 Lung Cancer and was undergoing radiation treatments. I was also juggling my full-time job virtually, where I am in an administrative role, so I truly had not had an opportunity to reach back out or answer the phone. When I did call back ... read more

The refrigerator I rented was not the best, but I only needed it until mine was fixed. However the main reason for me to complain is I can't get them to send me a receipt. I need the receipt for reimbursement from the protection plan. They have given me so many excuses and promises and still no receipt. They even told me they mailed it, nope! What is so hard about getting a receipt.

Rent a center is a joke bad customer service in store on Tennessee st. In Tallahassee FL. Manager Scott very rude to customers continuesly. Always says I'm on late in payments when I ask every time does this make th payment current
