Dr. Castillo obviously cares about his patients and always spends ample time to make sure he is giving them the best care.

This visit is one of many I have over the years and hope to have many more. Dr. Castillo has always been very professional and caring when explaining how the disease and his treatments are affecting my body. He is quite willing to take the time to explain and answer any questions I have and more importantly he takes the time to explain to my wife and answers her questions. He is quite concern about the welfare and mental health of his patients.
This visit was my annual visit since my cancer surgery. As always, Dr. Castillo was thorough with his exam, explained everything to me, and asked if I was having any issues. He is also very kind, which is important when you are talking to patients about the Big C!
Kind. Efficient. Knowledgeable. Honestly, those three words are Dr. Renee Castillo. From the moment I went to my first appointment for breast cancer treatment, through my last visit he has been wonderful. On that first visit I was terrified, but left with a feeling of peaceful calm and hope. Dr. Castillo is very focused on getting his patients well, and stays current with new treatments, research and developments in the field of oncology and chemotherapy. He will answer as many questions as you have. So go ahead - do your research, ask your questions, even question your treatment protocol if you have doubts - he doesn't mind you being part of your health team and encourages his patients to get involved in their own healing.
