Dr. Castillo always takes his time to talk to me and ask me questions about how I feel and what is going on in my life if I have concerns. Dr. Castillo took care of my husband while he was alive and always caring for him and for me as a health caregiver. Then when I got sick. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I always recommend him.
I started seeing Dr Castillo in 2021 and from the start i knew my breast cancer treatments were going to be good with his expertise and his compassion towards the fear I had. I am in 3rd year remission, see him every 6 months. I highly recommend him to anyone out there going through cancer possible treatments. My saviour, cant thank you enough Dr Castillo.

I felt like I was meeting an old friend, every time I had a visit with Dr Castillo. He took time to explain everything and would I would go through once I went across the street to the hospital. He was very compassionate. Felt like a family friend to me and my wife. She asked me why I didn't and Oncologist here up in Round Rock, which is closer than South location and after meeting him my wife understood, why I chose to go to Texas Oncology South to see Dr Castillo.
Dr Castillo explained the treatment and helped me through 16 chemo treatments. I am just under one year cancer free!
Dr. Castillo has been my oncologist for over 15 years and he's THE BEST! He has gone over and above in finding my leukemia, and coordinating my proper diagnosis and care with VA to ensure my situation is perfectly cared for - and my disability is thoroughly recognized and compensated!He has a fantastic best-care attitude and personality! I can't imagine any other doctor giving better care!
Dr. Castillo is a gentle doctor and has such a compassionate nature. It is especially reassuring that even if one’s progress is slow or one’s health has moved in a negative direction, Dr. Castillo never gets upset. He is very even and he has a way of uplifting one and provides hope.
My wife hass been going to Dr. Castillo for many years and we appreciate him and the great doctor that he is. He is very knowledgeable and answers all questions. We would recommend Dr. Castillo to anyone needing cancer care.David and Billie Kavecki
