Prepare to pet, feed and photograph both adult and baby reindeer at Anchorage's fascinating Reindeer Farm. Gentle and tame, these "deer" are accustomed to visitors and are very friendly. Owner Tom Williams actually grew up on this beautiful farm and transformed it from a dairy farm to a reindeer wonderland in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can also marvel at elk and bison, and can go on a horseback ride up up the nearby Butte.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, they had lots of great activities for kids of all ages, and the animals were well taken care of! Oh, and Husky Burger was On Point! So yummy and super friendly staff!!
Special place and the Fall Festival was great fun! LOVED getting to feed the reindeer up close - that was so cool!

I always tell everyone that this is my favorite place in Alaska! Anyone that comes and visits us we take here to show them the reindeer, elk, and Dolly the bison. We’re excited about their new moose addition too. The Williams family and the other staff on the farm are always friendly and informative. RecommendedMe and my fiancée love the reindeer farm. It’s always a fun time whenever family/friends comes in, or we want to go ourselves. Learn some very interesting stuff, and they have more than just reindeeer! We were just there yesterday for their Halloween theme event, and had so much fun. Gonna try to go again next week, and every year after!
