Please someone encourage my sister Ginny how to start Blogging online with her food and wine and appetizer tips. Sometimes people are retired before they choose to go. Gin has always given her all at whatever she's done. I think you might interest her into another venue of teaching about food if someone helps her get on-line as the gifted food diva she is. Seriously!

That woman knew her food and wine....from keeping eggplant from being bitter to the correct wine to pair with any meal!. I miss her smiling face and courteous disposition. I thought she was a Reider . Knew she couldn't be. Miss her so much!!! The Delis' not the same.

i worked at stop -n-shop 20+ years ago when bruce was just beginning.. he hasn't changed at all. ppl skills=nada. like the store tho. meat, deli and bakery. kinda pricey on regular grocery items.

I shop at Reiders all the time and have never been disappointed. The staff has always been kind, curteous and extremely helpful. All the way from the check out staff to the management. Wonderful meats and seafoods. I am glad they opened in our area!

I worked at this place and let me tell you it was ridiculous. Sure the management doesn't really have their act together but that isn't the problem. The problem is Bruce. He is a flat out jerk. He screams at the drop of the pin. And when i say scream, I mean flat out losing it and having a temper tantrum. Like a little girl. But he's not a little girl. Just a little man. A little man that has a giant Napoleonic Complex. That little jerk. He would purposely ram into me while walking by. I guess to prove he's the 'bigger man'.... read more

I love Reider's and all they have to offer. The quality of their meats & seafood are second to none. This is really the best place to shop for fresh food, and also it is one of the last places that actually have a baker on site. Bruce Reider has helped me numerous times with a meat selection, and told me how to prepare it, and I have never been disappointed. I've shopped at Reider's market for a while now, and I must say- the guy who owns the place is a nightmare. I've persanally witnessed the crude way in which he treats his employees and even some customers(!!!) The food is good, and the rest of the staff is ok, but Bruce Reider is a terrible man. I have no idea how so many people can stand working for a man like that....

I have shopped at Reider's since the market opened and I have never been disappointed. The weekly sales are better than any other Chardon store, especially meat sales. I love Reider's Meat Department and Deli. I love taste-testing the many samples they provide in the departments. The Market Made section of Reider's is truly a lifesaver with its delicious prepared foods. What a treat their homemade soups are !! Excellent food here. They consistently have the best steaks and fresh seafood in the area. They also have a good selection of beer and wine. We buy almost all of our meat and seafood here. Another thing they have is Graeters ice cream.
