don't shop at reider in concord if you donot want to be humiliated. i asked if i can buy 10 bags of shrimp- it is on sale- limit of 2-5 lbs bags. guy from store said no,'cause 10lbs' limit is for per family. i asked manager, he said limit was for per person as long as he/she comes to the store buy the shrimp and pay individually. i said fine so when i got home i sent my children and father to the store to buy the shrimp. when they got there the guy from the seafood dept. said each person can only buy 1 bag, store has lower t... read more
Best meat department & bakery around! Just wish their sales circular could be found online. Do not get it in the mail any longer since we moved

I only shop here if I need something right away and don't have time to go to Heinen's. Reider's is too pricey and I don't think the owner if particularly friendly.

never will I shop there, just horrible management and ownership.
Have visited this store several times - but no more. The food quality is OK, but somewhat inconsistent. Some of the employees seem unhappy and tense. Didn't know why until I "met" the owmer - their boss. The guy is a piece of work - a real jerk. Their are better options in the area.r
The diversity in the deli, meats, and spirits is better than any other grocery store in the area. The deli offers Boarâs head which is better than anything Heinenâs has to offer. There bakery is actually known as excellent and people from all over go there. The owner is always pleasant and greets us with a smile and makes polite small talk.. Plus if you pay in cash on the weekends you get 5 percent off. No one else in our area does that!!!! I hope this grocery store stays in business for along time.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me any more about Reiders. I know someone who is interviewing there for an accounting position. I was very disturbed to see your comments.
