Ran to Reiders on my way home from work last night to grab a few things, because it was on the way. I've ready horror stories about Bruce (the owner), but last night I got to see it first hand. As i rounded the corner near the seafood, I could hear a man yelling. As i walk a little further, I see Bruce SCREAMING at a young girl behind the meat dept. today was the last day i shop at reider's, once again completely embarrassed for employees receiving tongue lashings from the miserable owner... this store has potential but not with him involved in the picture...take a look at whole foods employees....it all starts at the top, enough said
Just ran to Reiders to do some shopping. I have been a Concord Resident for Nineteen years and have frequented the store on many occasions. I wasn't in there five minutes and had to see and hear Bruce chastise and demean two employees right in front of customers. What's wrong with this picture. I have heard dozens of experiences like this from other customers. What is he thinking or NOT THINKING? I pay his bills and so do hundreds of others by patronizing his store. Do not shop at Reider's. Bruce is freaking deranged
I have been a customer at Reider's since they opened. I have never had an awful expierence shopping there. They have been always helpful and really go out of their way to do their best for you. All I can say about some of the reviews posted here are perhaps by former dis-gruntal employees or people that are un-happy everyday no matter what. I worked in a family business for years and have witnessed everything from the best to the worst in customers. I've been shopping at Reider's since it opened and find the employees very helpful and friendly. I buy all my meat and most of my produce there. No bad experiences here.
cashiers have always been nice to me. the octoberfest sausage is great. i enjoy shopping at reiders in concorde.
Each and every time I leave Reider's Market is with dismay. This has to be the least customer friendly store I have EVER shopped in. Whether I shop once a week or three times a week, I have yet to have a cashier thank me for spending my money at Reider's. I anxiously go to new cashiers just waiting...but NO. Are they trained NOT to say "thank you'? Your meat, wine, and bakery departments are quite good; other than that, things are satisfactory, borderline, or inadequate...high priced and not a hint of anyone being grateful t... read more
why would you put an ad up online that dosen't even start till wednesday? I checked the ad online yesterday which was Sunday the 5th of june and the ad you had posted dosen't even start till Wednesday the 8th. When I check ads I expect to be able to go tothe store and get the product that same day not have to wait 3 days.
