As a former paratrooper I find it absolutely despicable a company with such predatory tactics and down right criminal behavior could be a well known institution. I have never been late on ANY payments in my entire life until opening a regions credit card. They have an auto draft feature that's automatically set up for the actual due date, but the payments always pend for at least 3 days, making the on time payment "late". They post transactions to make your account go negative so they can hit you with the over stave fee. There customer service reps don't care and never offer to help with anything. The home improvement loan process, is lacking serious access of information. There customer website is dysfunctional and does not help or show critical information that is needed. The paper statements are useless as well. There is a lot of mystery as to why the are not transparent showing the accrual of daily interest charges and or payoff information. In a day and age of technology this is terrible transactional transparency.
