This company is awful to work with. Their customer service is terrible, no one seems to be able to answer questions, and they have mis-applied my payment every time. When I call to get it rectified or get clarification on why this issues keeps happening, the reps I speak to are unable to articulate why it happens, nor are they able to correct/fix it. We went to Regions Bank to speak with a financial advisor, in June 2018 to move a majority of our money from a IRA that had matured, to an IRA that was paying a higher interest, and a small portion of that money into a money market account just in case of medical issues. When we got the monthly statement for the money market account, the total amount from the original IRA was showing in the money market account. Deserves zero stars. The others with one star are right, Regions is horrible. Their system is setup to allow transfers for MORE than what's available from their checking to their savings. Literally every other bank in the world would have a check in place on internal transfers to prevent this, but not Regions as I was charged $** from an internal transfer! Truly awful bank. They "do not use email" and will absolutely refuse to email you important documents. Their scheme is to charge you *$ every time you want to use their printer. They are also EXTREMELY unprofessional over the phone. Rude, short, putting you on hold for no reason, leaving you on hold for more than 15 minutes, and not resolving issues. They have no email support contact option because they want you to call them so they can put you on hold. They seem to enjoy abusing customers in this way. I closed out my accou... read more

I used their ATM on Madison Blvd in Madison AL I deposited $*** and the ATM spit out $** and a notice came up on the screen saying it had retained my funds and to contact the bank. That was a week ago Meanwhile overdraft fees are getting added. The money was out into the account Now they are taking their time to replace my money I realize that's not a lot of money to some people but to most it is. I went to Regions ATM to make a deposit early this morning. The ATM took ******it returned two *****bills as not accepted. The ATM returned my card and made noise as if it was processing my funds then lights on the right panel went out then silence. When everything stopped and lights came back on everything was as if nothing happened I received no receipt no nothing. I put my card back in to see if monies were deposited but nothing.
