Had my dog here this past Saturday November 14 , I called first to make sure they would be able to do something with a growth (keloid)on my older dogs tail that has just recently started to bother her. I was told definitely bring her over. She was there almost 8 hours. I was finally told that she would have to of course be admitted do all these tests before it could be removed. I was told by another vet before all that would need to be numb her tail well cut it stitches. It was really starting to bother her and she made it a... read more

I will NEVER bring any of our pets here ever again. October 25th we brought our dog here for an emergency visit. She needed surgery and it apparently would’ve cost us 10k$. So we had to opt to euthanize her so she wouldn’t be in pain. We paid for an individual cremation and said we would receive her within a week. Got a call on Halloween saying she was ready to be picked up. We went to go pick her up Nov 1 and they said they didn’t have her ashes, just her paw print and we’d receive a call on Monday. Never received a call. A... read more

I had an emergency visit with my dog Sophie...non stop vomiting, lethargy...rule out pancreatitis. Despite the buckets of rain and Covid it was a great experience. It was hard not to be with her. The staff did a great job keeping me informed about Sophie’s care and all results. They were e tremendously patient with a good sense of humor. Well done to all!

Business response:

Hello Susan! We hope Sophie is doing well. We'll be sure to share this wonderful review with the staff. Thank you for your kind words.

We do not recommend taking your pet to Saint Francis. We took our cat there on Friday for breathing problems, 7 hours later (and a hefty bill) they did not look at his chest (but looked at his abdomen) and said he was good to go home. I understand COVID has increased waiting times. But there was 0 communication from them and they didn’t even look at his chest. Here we are back at a different Animal Hospital where they listened to our description of our cat’s issue and already made a guess of an Upper Respiratory Infection. H... read more

So I'm trying to gather my thoughts and calm down from my absolute worst experience ever with any place that claims to "care". My dog Duke is getting to a point where its almost time to make that decision. So I am not faulting them for his medical condition. With that being said. My dog has a tumor that ruptured. They the closest place to my house. We called them up and told them we are on our way with an emergency. Also told them this was probably a visit that would lead to ...Continue Reading

Total disgrace! Waited 7 hours called all during that time to get updates on our cat and was ignored, the doctor didn’t know a diagnosis! Staff was unprofessional, all they were concerned about was payment that was close to 1100.00 for nothing that was done for our cat! DO NOT go to this facility!

Business response:

Angie, I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience today! We always strive for professionalism and ongoing communication from the medical team to pet owners. We would like to discuss your concerns further. Please contact Melissa at 856.728.1400.
