Dr Alkire is a very thoughtful, compassionate, very thourough.
My sister was on the cvicu unit at Nash UNC where this bobble head of a doctor works. my sister had been complaining about throat pain, chest pain, & actually started to bleed out into her canister by mouth all after being intubated all doctors told her this was normal. the night she had so much blood and clots coming up to where she was gasping for air, me and my mother yelled to get help. this doctor appears, comes into a DARK ROOM, to assist my sister, she’s visibly choking, saying she can’t breathe. he looks at her vital... read more
I have never met a more thorough, compassionate physician in all my life. It might sound overdramatic but with all the doctors out there now just in it to make the money, push meds and then shove you out the door, it's refreshing to see one that actually cares.
This man is an amazing surgeon! He is very friendly and explains everything in detail. Has great energy and truly gifted! Best surgeon around here...
