Wtf happened to the quality of this place? Don't eat here unless you want to eat spoiled meat and possibly die of food poisoning!! Trust me stay away from this dump
I am sorry to say...I took my family to The Red Ox for dinner tonight...something we do often... all three of us ordered the special...Steak and Shrimp dinner. After waiting 30 min. For our dinner to arrive...I found my steak to be cold and my baked potato to be cold ...the soft margarine would not melt..the ONLY thing on my plate that was hot was my shrimp...my Granddaughter had the very same thing going on on her plate...and my husband..well he didn't care if his was cold or not. We loved it great food great service and the ugly steak is the best!
The ugly steak , onions and mushrooms sauted on the side med rare Trips my trigger just thinking of it. Really does rock the house. My wife was disappointed in her meal, a shrimp and pasta but extremely to the tomato sauce flavor . She's had better before there. It'll be ugly steaks times two next time
Although the service itself was okay I Was not impressed at all my hamburger tasted like it was spoiled meat it was not worth no $18 neither was the kids chicken nugget meal there's only like 5 nuggets and a handful of fries for $15.99 not to mention the fact that they brought you tiny glasses a soda that was mostly ice with very little soda husband spent a total of $70 for 6 people was not worth it at all for the little bit of food that we got and like I said the Taste awful disappointed will not be going back
Consistently a positive experience -- both from a food perspective and a service perspective. A Macomb treasure!
Absolutely love the ugly steak and every time I go it's delicious no matter what I order. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food & servers! We drove all the way from Iowa because we love the food.
