Recording Workshop (RECW) is a music recording school. Founded in 1977, we are the industry leader in HANDS-ON training. Our programs are short-term (5-7 weeks), very intense and creative. Our students come from all over the world to learn professional methods of tracking, mixing and producing music in the studio. We have a great private campus, with well-equipped studios and very affordable on-campus housing.

Been 2o years since I attended in the fall and I wasn't a youngster then...lol Still out here making noise a bit. Since we run our sound I handle the PA besides performing on stage.. thank goodness for wireless systems :) When I was there the place had just started getting into the digital stuff a bit. Racks of ADATS and those big ole' Sony boards..lol. Had fun recording the local bands and mixing down their stuff. I was pretty much the old man in the candy store..lol Happy Holidays to all the RW staff and Rock on!
Amazing people, amazing sounds. Picture you, who really loves music, hanging out, learning music, and making music with a bunch of other people who really freaking love music.
The Recording School is awesome! I do recommend this wonderful hands-on trade school, highly.
