Recording Workshop (RECW) is a music recording school. Founded in 1977, we are the industry leader in HANDS-ON training. Our programs are short-term (5-7 weeks), very intense and creative. Our students come from all over the world to learn professional methods of tracking, mixing and producing music in the studio. We have a great private campus, with well-equipped studios and very affordable on-campus housing.

Would love to get out their like you people already out their with my two baby boys and girlfriend to get out of this horrible town I live in but some people have things that others don't
By far some of the best money I've ever spent. If you have no audio knowledge, this will be a great hands-on crash course in signal flow, acoustics, analog gear, Pro Tools, microphone selection, music business, music production, audio-for-video, and more. If you go in having some knowledge, it will reinforce the things you know, and fill in the things that are missing. Winter '81 grad along with Nate Aliff...wouldn't trade the experience for the world...this is where I'm at now(Shelly Phelps and the Scarlet Street Players) and I'm happy.....
I graduated top 5% of my class August 1993, the best education I have ever recieved, With my education from The Recording Workshop and my BSC in communications from Ohio University, I landed a sweet gig with Apple inc. It just doesn't get any better than that! Thank you!
