RecommendedI am thrilled with the relief I have gotten from treatments at Read Health Center. I have been a patient of Barbara’s for at least five years. My visit are getting farther apart as I now stay in alignment. I recently had a new pain in the back of my head. One adjustment and the pain was gone immediately and hasn’t returned in 10 days! Her gentle touch is amazing. No jerking or severe manipulation! I am thankful I found her!

Caring, gentle, professional and personal. But ultimately NUCCA care fixes physical problems! Even long term problems! So worth every penny to have better true health!
I started to see Dr. Read after having vertigo issues. I had tried physical therapy with the epley maneuver, and at home exercises, but it did not seem to provide any lasting relief. After just the first adjustment from Dr. Read I felt much better and more relief than I had gotten doing any other of the things. After a couple more visits all vertigo issues were completely gone. I also use to have lots of issues with my upper back and neck. Since seeing Dr. Read I do not have tension in that area anymore. Thank you Dr. Read!
Dr. Read saved my career. For the past eight years I have suffered from seizures that became more frequent and severe. First doctor prescribed me a years’ worth of 800 milligram Ibuprofen. Have seen several neurologists, multitude of other Chiropractors, had cat scans, EEG, x-rays, MRI, the list of testing goes on. After a week at KU Medical Center epilepsy was finally ruled out.
