I have seen Dr. Metz several times over the last year for a condition called trigger finger, of which I have two fingers on both hands with this ailment. He has given me injections to free up the joints on four different occasions and this last time suggested that I have surgery to correct one of the fingers on my left hand. His demeanor both at the office and in surgery is professional and friendly. Needless to say, thanks to Dr. Metz, I am now wiggling my fingers just fine.
EXCELLENT DOCTOR AND STAFF
Dr. Metz bedside manor was great. Surgery and recover (Dupytrens Contracture) went smoothly and without incident. He explained the process thoroughly. After surgery office visits were always on time if not quicker. Staff was excellent. Couldn't be happier with the results. I've had several surgeries with Core Orthpedics and each went very well.
Found Core and Dr. Metz because he was in my insurance plan. I am SO happy I did! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Metz to anyone in need of his expertise. He is an Excellent Doctor, Excellent Surgeon, VERY nice guy and has no problem expelling everything. If he fits within your requirements/needs for a Doctor DO NOT go to anyone else!! You will not regret it!!!!
Dr. Metz performed my trigger thumb surgery and was a comfortable experience. Very thorough in his examinations and explanations of procedure. Healing went very well and my thumb is doing well. I would refer anyone to go to Core orthopedics, very knowledgeable and caring staff.

Dr. Metz Jr. Was thorough in his diagnosis, efficient in the pre-approval process and helped resolve an issue I'd had for nearly twenty years and he did this all in just a few weeks. He took significant time to explain the process and procedure and his follow up work was just as I would want for myself, my family or friends. He worked closely with rehab therapists in every step of recovery. I am highly confident recommending Dr. Metz to anyone in need of orthopedic hand surgery.
Dr Metz performed carpal tunnel surgery on me ....from the first consultation to the final post op visit, Dr Metz was amazing. Professional, compassionate, great surgeon, and very though with every aspect of the process.....HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!......my hands feel great, no more pain and numbness.
