I saw Dr. Metz for a torn tendon in my thumb that caused it to get stuck in the bent position. He repaired my hand and now I have full function. He also released a trigger finger for me earlier. I highly recommend Dr. Metz for any type of hand surgery and all of the Core Orthopedic staff. All of the doctors there are extremely knowledgeable and competent surgeons. The physical therapy staff is great as well.

I'm responding on behalf of my daughter. She was misdiagnosed by another ortho and went to Dr Metz. He took care of her problem immediately. She was 8 months pregnant and in pain and suffering. He was very kind and knowledgeable.
If you've been putting off surgery for carpal tunnel - don't! I avoided the surgery for years but after I watched Dr. Metz's video showing the endoscopic surgery procedure it took aware my fears. I've had both hands done and I have full function back again. Dr. Metz and the entire staff are the best! Do not put off your surgery any longer like I had - do it now! Dr. Metz is the best!
I saw Dr. Metz for a torn biceps tendon and it was a great experience. Or as great as something like that can be. He is very sweet, caring, realistic, funny and patient. He and his staff do a fantastic job of coordinating all of the insurance red tape and truly cares about his patients.
Reading other reviews I have to strongly concur. If it is necessary to surgically treat carpal tunnel, I cannot imagine a more stress free approach. Dr Metz and entire staff are professional yet extremely friendly. As a patient I knew exactly what was going to occur next. Best of all, results are great. Short recovery and full use of each hand.
An extremely knowledgable and friendly doctor. So helpful and glad to answer any all questions. Explained every thing up front, so no surprises. I had orthoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. He did an awesome job and I started improving almost immediately. After 61 years of playing drums and then having to almost stop, he has helped me continue my playing…I would go back to him and his staff in a heartbeat if I need anything else in his area of expertise. An absolutely wonderful experience.
Dr. Metz was great to work with when I broke my thumb. I got in right away for my first appt and had a surgery scheduled the next day. The staff at CORE are great!
Fantastic doctor, corrected my carpal tunnel in my right hand. The surgery was amazingly fast and professional. Can make a fist for the first time in 3 years! After a little more than a week I am painting our house. Highly recommend this doctor and the endoscopy procedure.
