Not only is Dr. Metz a highly skilled hand surgeon, he is also very kind, compassionate and has a way about him that makes you feel relaxed and confident that everything will be ok. Great sense of humor too!! He repaired both of my thumbs and I'm now pain free. The office staff is great and Betsy, the occupational therapist is very patient. She made my thumbs strong again! If I could give everyone TEN STARS, I would! Thank you Dr. Metz and staff.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Metz, and had no trepidation about my upcoming surgery. I was very confident in him and his skills. I also thoroughly enjoyed his personality and his humor! It almost made the office visit an enjoyable one! I'd been warned about the surgery I was to have, and the painful rehab. It was an easy surgery, and an equally simple recovery. I have recommended Dr. Metz to many people.
Dr. Metz fully explained all the upcoming procedures and took plenty of time to answer any questions I had. The office staff was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and the Occupational Therapist, Betsy was outstanding. I would most certainly recommend him to family and friends.
I went to Dr. Metz with a very painful finger joint full of arthritis. He replaced the knuckle and am now pain free. Great job and a quick recovery time.
The entire experience with Dr. Metz and his staff was a pleasure from start to finish. Prompt appointments, friendly staff and very thorough in his diagnosis. I would highly recommend Dr. Metz.

I was happy to have Dr. Raymond Metz perform my wrist surgery. He explained procedures so that I could understand in non-medical terminology. Dr. Metz also met with me moments before I was brought in to the operating room, which made me feel secure. The office & medical staff at Hoffman Estates Core was outstanding, professional, kind & sincere. The staff at Elk Grove Core were not as professional, nor sincere, maybe they were just having a bad day, I do not wish to complain. Thank you.
Dr. Metz is great. Spends time with you, talks about all options and really cares. Highly recommend.
